Template or done-for-you
A wedding website template is cheaper. It is not always less expensive.
Both options end with a link you send to your guests. They differ in who does the work — and in the months before a wedding, that is usually the decision that matters.
What an editable template actually asks of you
An editable Canva or Wix template is a starting layout. Once it is yours, you replace every piece of placeholder text, source and crop your own photographs, fix the spacing that breaks on a phone, wire up an RSVP form from a separate tool, connect a domain, and publish it.
None of that is difficult on its own. Together it is commonly several evenings — spent during the same weeks you are chasing a caterer and a seating plan.
The two options side by side
Choose the template if…
…you like design work, already know your way around Canva or Wix, and have evenings to give it. You will end up with something you control completely, and you will have paid less for it. That is a perfectly good outcome and this page is not going to argue you out of it.
Choose done-for-you if…
…your time is the scarce thing. Sakinahly starts at $29: you choose a design, send your wording and details, and receive a finished website with online RSVP, a guest dashboard, a QR code, and hosting — no file to edit and nothing to publish yourself.
You can judge the finished quality before paying anything. Every design in the collection is a working demo, and the RSVP walkthrough shows exactly what a guest reply looks like on your side.
Common questions
Is Sakinahly an editable template I download?+
No, and this is the main difference to be clear about before ordering. You are not buying a file to edit. You send your details and receive a finished website that is already built, personalized, and hosted. The templates and source code stay with Sakinahly.
So why would I pay more than a template costs?+
Because the template price is not the real price. An editable Canva or Wix template is cheaper up front, then asks for several evenings of your own work to set up, fix on mobile, and connect an RSVP form. If those evenings are scarce in the months before a wedding, the finished option is often the cheaper one.
When is a template genuinely the better choice?+
When you enjoy design work, already use Canva or Wix comfortably, and have time to spare. If you want control over every element and expect to keep tweaking it, a template gives you that and a done-for-you service does not.
Can I still change things after my website is delivered?+
Yes, through revision rounds — 1 with Essential, 2 with Signature, 3 with Bespoke. These cover wording, photos, dates, links, and supplied details. A different layout or design direction is a custom request.
How long until my website is ready?+
The first preview is normally ready within 1–3 business days once all your content has been received. Bespoke requests can take longer.
See it before you decide.
Every design is a live demo you can scroll, open, and RSVP on — the same experience your guests will receive.
